What if I don't have a formal procedure to assemble my product?

You can show me in your desired format. Which can include:

  • Verbal/Text explanation
  • Cell phone video
  • Video chat
  • In person visit to your office

Note: Jobs with well documented procedures will be quoted lower price. I have to charge for the time it takes me to piece together incomplete instructions.

I currently do not have tooling or capacity to do the following:

  • Complex soldering jobs
  • Laser cutting
  • Machining
  • Die bonding
  • CMM measuring
  • Clean room assembly

This is subject to change.

What if my job requires specialized tooling?

If your job requires specialized tooling you can ship those specialized tools with your parts. I can then either return the tools when the job is completed or keep them for subsequent orders/production runs.

What is your MOQ? (Minimum Order Quantity)

None. I can build a single assembly. However the per unit price significantly reduces as order quantity rises.

  • Custom metrology equiptment
  • AI computer systems
  • Enclosed PCBs
  • Micro optical systems
  • Speakers

In addition to off the shelf parts my job requires 3D printed parts. Do you have a 3D printer?

Yes I use an FDM printer and can print PETG, PLA, and PC.

What do you require to quote a job?

Ideally you have the following information:

1. Product BOM

2. Desired quantity

3. Brief explanation of assembly complexity

4. Job urgency / Due date

5. Picture of the product (Bonus points for picture of the parts required)

Note: It's ok if you don't have all of this information or if you need my help to make a BOM or process instructions.

Do you offer rush service?

Yes for a fee I will attempt to accomodate rush orders. Cannot always guarantee rush service is available.

Do you offer pick up and drop off?

Yes I can pick up parts and deliver assemblies to most of the San Francisco Bay Area.

What is your capacity? How many people are on your team?

Currently a one man shop. But I have contractors who I can call upon to help with larger jobs.
